I had such a pleasant and professional experience here. I came as a walk in for 16" knotless braids after my usual hair braiding place nearby was full. The price was stated before the service. I'm glad I came here, because they did a better job. Thank you so much for my hair!

This was my first time getting box braids so I did a lot of research before settling on this shop. The fact that the hair was included was a big plus. The ladies in the shop were friendly and professional, and I love the way my hair turned out. My braider, Khady, was kind and braided neatly, but not too tight which I appreciated. The lady did such a great job! Estimated it would take 6-7 hours to do knotless boho braids and finished in about 4 and a half! She wasnt rough as I am tender headed. Service was amazing and everyone was nice! Will be coming back here for my braids from now on!

The lady charged me $200 for box braids that are not small or long, then had the nerve to ask for an additional $10 for "her 3 packs of hair." I gave her the $200 and then walked out. I wish I would pay for hair, especially when most places include the hair. I had to endure all their loud talking and laughing. The lady kept stopping, and it didn't smell so good. They should have paid me for sitting there for 6 hours in those conditions. Tf

Khady was very sweet and my medium length knotless braids ($200) turned out great! I know there are cheaper salons in Harlem, but the lovely service made me feel better about the price. If you prefer early appointments, know that they actually open at 10, not 9 like their website and google hours say.

Just had another great experience at Khadys. I went in for senegalese twist done by Anta. Also her specialties are senegalese twist and corn row styles so I knew she was gonna get me right. This was the first hair braiding shop I went to in Harlem and boy am I glad. Especially because of how reasonably priced it is and the amazing quality of the hair. The first time I went I got box braids at a mid back length and this time I did long twists. The braids lasted me 3 months and I couldve extended it because the braids stayed intact. This time around Im hoping to keep them in for 4 months. Khadys shop is such a great environment with skilled and lively braiders. They always come out lightweight and secure. But never too tight or painful like other places. Regardless of how long you are there for, you are going to have a fun time and leave with amazing quality hair. I highly recommend everyone to make this their go to Harlem hair braiding spot!!!!

Ive been going to Khady's salon since October 2022 for my braiding styles. The salon is friendly, clean, and cozy. The stylists (Khady, Pie, and Aja) are talented. They are professionals and take care of you 100%. If you show them a picture of your desired style, they will make it happen! I recommend this shop to all of my friends and family!

Everyone is so sweet and they check in on me while theyre doing my hair. I always love my regular box braids and they dont braid super tight to the point where my scalp hurts. Regular box braids are $160 ($200 for Knotless) and they offer the hair AND allow you to mix colors based off of your request for no extra charge. Also they finish the hair pretty quickly.

Due to severe breakage in the top/ middle section and other areas of my hair, as well as money wasted two weeks prior on knotless braids done by another shop; I was extremely nervous about trying another new braider and getting a style that would not last. I was led to this shop through the reviews and because I have a friend that lives nearby. I needed a style that would accommodate my breakage and last at least a month. I decided on these Beautiful neat lemonade braids done by Am-ta.. I received Affordable friendly service. Pics reflect day 1
Vs 3 weeks. Will keep these in at least a month which is more than good enough for me and this style. Reasons why I will go back. Service was good, the shop/bathroom was clean, reasonable prices, longevity of style.
